Your Hotel 4* NH Hotel, Den Haag. Luxury hotel situated within walking distance of the city centre, The Hague - accommodation includes buffet breakfast and dinner. All rooms are en-suite, with hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, telephone, internet connection, minibar, iron. Hotel has a fitness centre and bicycles to hire.
Saturday 1st May - Leave Whitehall early morning to travel to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais, arriving in France around midday. Travel northwards following the Belgian coastline into Holland and the hotel in The Hague, arriving in time for dinner.
Sunday 2nd May - Today we visit Keukenhof Gardens, where you can spend the whole day exploring the fantastic gardens and exhibition halls. Keukonhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is situated near Lisse and is the worlds largest garden. It was established in 1949 by the then Mayor of Lisse for the growers of the Netherlands to promote their wares to the rest of the world. Refreshments are available on site and you can also purchase cut flowers and bulbs to take home - as long as they are free from soil.
After a memorable day return to the hotel for Dinner.
Monday 3rd May - After breakfast this morning the coach will take you into Amsterdam where there will be a 2 hour guided City Tour, Canal Cruise and visit to the Diamond Factory. After some time at leisure we travel back to The Hague and the comfort of our hotel.
Tuesday 4th May - Sadly your journey home will begin after breakfast. You will have an opportunity to buy Belgian Chocolates and perhaps stock up your wine cellar on the way back to Calais and your late afternoon ferry crossing. You should arrive back at Whitehall late evening.

4* Louis Fitzgerald Hotel a fabulous hotel on the outskirts of Dublin providing modern sophistication with friendly staff and excellent cuisine.
Monday 14th - Leave Whitehall early morning to travel north to Holyhead and our ferry crossing across to Dublin (times to be confirmed). Arriving at our hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Tuesday 15th - Leave hotel after breakfast to travel via the Old Military Rd (scenic route) to Powerscourt Gardens and Garden Centre. Time to take refreshments in the restaurant there before travelling on to the National Garden Exhibition at Kilquade. This is a permanent exhibition of over 20 gardens - full of inspiration for your own garden at home. You can even buy most of the plants from the onsite nursery! Back to our hotel with time to freshen up before going in to Dublin and the Irish Legends show - a fantastic evening meal and entertainment.
Wednesday 16th - After breakfast we visit the Irish National Stud and Gardens. The Japanese Gardens and St Fiachras Garden are both in the grounds of the Irish National Stud (formerly the Tulley Estate), they have been carefully preserved and are considered one of the gems of Irish heritage. If you have time it is recommended that you join one of the guided tours of the Stud with one of the stable lads - highly entertaining! Nowhere else can you see ‘behind the scenes’ on a working stud farm. In the afternoon we travel east towards the coast and spend the afternoon at Mount Usher - a privately owned garden in a sheltered valley dating back to 1860. Our coach will transfer us to our hotel for another delicious evening meal.
Thursday 17th - Today our coach will take us into Dublin to visit the famous Botanical Gardens- Irelands richest plant collection. The glasshouses here compete favourably with Kew Gardens and house a diversity of the worlds plant life. Stay for refreshments before transferring to the city centre with time at leisure. Those who wish to can visit the Walled Garden at Kilrainham House, or maybe visit the Guinness Storehouse (admission not included) or just enjoy the sights of Dublin’s fair city. Return to our hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Friday 18th - Sadly we leave the luxurious surroundings of our hotel to return to Dublin Port and our ferry to Holyhead. Coach journey on to Whitehall.

Thursday 22nd - Leave Whitehall to journey north to Dudley and a visit to the Black Country Living Museum - explore this fascinating tribute to the traditional skills and enterprise of the people of the Midlands area. Travel on to our hotel, Mickleover Court near Derby, in time for evening meal.
Friday 23rd - Leave hotel after breakfast to travel through the Peak District to Tatton Park for the 6th annual Flower Show. Tatton Park is an estate of 1,000 acres with Deer Park, Gardens, Mansion, Old Hall and a Rare Breeds Farm. Its gardens were voted the ‘top UK garden to visit 2009’ by viewers of BBC Gardner’s World. After a full day at Tatton we travel back to the hotel in time for dinner and perhaps a visit to the hotel’s leisure centre.
Saturday 24th - After breakfast we travel towards Stoke on Trent and visit the Trentham Estate, with its famous Italian Gardens, shopping village, monkey forest, woodlands and lake. There are many options for lunch within the estate. In the afternoon we will travel the short distance to the Dorothy Clive Gardens, a beautiful 12 acre garden which has evolved since 1940 when Colonel Harry Clive began landscaping a disused Victorian quarry for his wife Dorothy. A busy day followed by another delicious meal in the hotel.
Sunday 25th - Sadly we leave the hotel this morning after breakfast, travelling home via a stop in Warwick then on to Spetchley Park Gardens - near Worcester, another estate owned by the Berkeley family along with Berkeley Castle near Gloucester. We will arrive back at Whitehall early evening.

Thursday 9th - We make our way to East Anglia, having comfort stops and lunch on route, arriving at our hotel in plenty of time before dinner.
Friday 10th - Today our tour will be to Sandringham the much loved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen and has been the private home of four generations of British Monachs since 1862. The house set in 60 acres of stunning gardens is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk. Before our visit to Sandringham we go to the Norfolk Lavender Farm for a short visit.
Saturday 11th - Our visits today start at Gooderstone Water Gardens, a unique attraction for all garden lovers, naturalists, artists and photographers or those who simply want a restful break. What could be nicer than to stroll through an enchanting garden, explore the nature trail, perhaps spot a kingfisher and enjoy delicious home made cakes. We travel just down the road for our next visit to, Oxburgh Hall, it is a magnificent 15th Century Manor House, with its Tudor Gatehouse and accessible Priest’s Hole, was built in 1482 by the Bedingfield family who still live there. The attractive gardens feature a French parterre, walled orchard and kitchen garden.
Sunday 12th - A short journey today to Hoveton Hall gardens. Set at the edge of the Norfolk Broads, Hoveton Hall Gardens is a delightful garden mixing both formal and informal planting across the seasons. The Spider Garden, The Old Kitchen Garden, The Clematis Walk, Woodland Walk, Water Garden and Lake are all part of this beautiful garden. After our visit we return to Norwich for some last minute shopping or perhaps a visit to the 12th Century Cathederal.
Monday 13th - After breakfast we return to Wiltshire, with lunch stop on route.
