RESTAURANT ASSISTANTS - FULL-TIME and PART-TIME

Are you an enthusiastic individual with proven customer care skills? The positions above are required for our Award Winning & very busy Restaurant and our superb Lavender Lodge.

We are looking for people with great personalities, drive and enthusiasm to share their passion for the hospitality industry in delivering service with a smile. You will be trustworthy, motivated and have the desire to develop and sustain the highest levels of customer service. You will be working in a busy environment which requires being able to work well under pressure.

We are looking for full flexibility, full time positions to including working alternate weekends and 4 days during the week, part time positions to mainly cover weekends as required, in order to ensure that the varying needs of our business are met.

Restaurant Assistant Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• To work as part of the team to achieve the Company objectives.

• Supporting and helping colleagues with their work and getting involved in day to day activities as and when required.

• Showing a genuine interest in other people and willingness to help.

• Using initiative at all times.

• Displaying good listening skills.

• Flexible approach to working hours whereby you may be requested to work various shifts in line with the needs of the business

• Previous experience working with the public.

• Advising customers on food choices.

• Showing a genuine interest in other people and willingness to help.

• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.



FULL TIME EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR

We are looking for a Full Time Events Co-ordinator to join our events team to run both adult and children events throughout the year.

The ideal candidate must have a passion in event planning. Organised and focused, they will have a firm grasp on the principles and practice of event operations, with a keen ability to make any project their own. Could suit a Post Graduate.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Directors, you will be responsible for organising and running events across the year.

Required Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Ability to plan, think ahead and manage multiple projects

• Calm and capable under pressure whilst keeping a positive attitude

• Excellent time management skills

• The highest attention to detail and organisation

• Great oral and written communication skills

• Energetic, with the ability to lead the whole team on event days

• Adaptable, with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to take any challenge as it comes.

• Liaising with external suppliers and staff across the organisation

• Managing and delivering our events

• Working with colleagues across the team to provide event support and resources

• Assisting in the production and design of marketing campaigns when required

• Researching, inviting and liaising with speakers, exhibitors and delegates

Weekend working will be required when necessary.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS - FULL & PART TIME

Are you an enthusiastic individual with great customer care skills?

The above positions are required to work on our main Tills.

These positions will require you to be customer focused, friendly and approachable.

Great communication skills and motivation are also required with the ability to work under pressure at all times.

Full Time days of work include 4 days Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.

Part Time days of work will mainly include weekends and school holidays as required.

Hours of work vary so flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance.

• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently.

• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action.

• Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre.

• Cooperate fully with all line management.

• Provide assistance in other areas of the garden centre as required.
