Hebes are bushy, evergreen shrubs that bloom in the summer, occasionally in the spring or the autumn, in shades of purple, pink, or white. The leaves, which are frequently pink or variegated, can also serve as ornamental.

Once it is established, the hebe plant doesn't need a lot of maintenance. The shrub doesn't require much fertiliser, but you can apply some once a year in late winter or early spring before new growth. A hebe plant is relatively simple to grow. You can grow these shrubs in a variety of ways thanks to their adaptability. You can grow them in rock gardens, as borders, as edging, or even in pots.
