Also known as the Fiddle Leaf Fig, the Ficus Lyrata is a glorious and exotic indoor tree. Branches will grow from the leaf bases in time creating a wonderfully tropical specimen.
It is not hardy but prefers a bright spot, near a window (South, East or West). If it is in a dimmer spot, let it get even drier over the dark winter months, remember that light and water follow each other through the year.
Give it a little more hands on love over the summer with a good feed every month and a bit more of a drink, and it will reward you with leafy beauty.
