The Hebe 'Frozen Flame' is a dense evergreen shrub with grey-green leaves throughout most of the year and bright pinkish-purple during the winter. The shrub blossoms in the summer creating a cluster of vibrant blue flowers. Hebes are generally hardy, if you are concerned in bad winters you could mulch around the base of the stems to protect them.
