David Austin The Mayflower Shrub Rose 6L

Named after the ship that took Pilgrims to America, the Mayflower English Shrub Rose from David Austin Roses is vibrant and beautiful. A very healthy variety, it bears mid pink, medium-sized, Old Rose style blooms. They are held well above the dainty foliage and have a medium-strong Old Rose scent. It forms a tough and hardy shrub with upright, bushy, twiggy growth.

Introduced in 2001, this rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up mixed borders or celebrating in rose hedges and borders. Versatile, the shrub also does well in pots and containers, for a more mobile splash of colour and scent.

After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Mayflower will be about 110cm tall and 90cm wide, with a delicious Old Rose scent and medium blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
