David Austin Eustacia Vye Shrub Rose 6L

Named after Thomas Hardy's flawed heroine, the Eustacia Vye English Shrub Rose from David Austin Roses is vibrant and traditional. An exceedingly pretty rose of soft, glowing apricot-pink, each bloom packed with numerous delicately ruffled petals. Held on red-tinged stems, the blooms begin as shallow cups, opening to full rosettes, revealing petals of a richer hue, which gradually pale over time. They have a delicious strong fruity fragrance. A very healthy variety; it makes a strong, vigorous shrub with bushy, upright growth.

Introduced in 2019, this rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up a mixed border or celebrating in a rose border. Versatile, the shrub can also be enjoyed in pots and containers, or for cutting and enjoying in your home.

After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Eustacia Vye will be about 125cm tall and 90cm wide, with a delicious strong fruity scent and medium blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
