Chaenomeles Spec Moerloosei 3L

The bare twigs of ornamental quinces are covered in blooms in the springtime before the glossy, dark green leaves emerge, adding a welcome splash of colour to the landscape. 'Moerloosei' blooms later than other types and has fragrant, greenish-yellow fruit from March to May after cup-shaped, white flowers flushed with dark pink.

This robust, deciduous quince looks lovely trained against a wall and produces an attractive informal hedge for a sunny or partially shady spot with reasonably fertile, well-drained soil.
