With their magnificent spires of bell shaped flowers, foxgloves are an absolute staple for cottage gardens, woodland gardens and mixed borders. A shade tolerant biennial which will self-seed to create lovely colonies if allowed.

Digitalis Dalmatian Purple is part of the Dalmatian series, which are dwarf plants that tend to flower in their first year. Because they are short, plants in the Dalmatian series are ideal for growing in containers, and may be treated as bedding plants.
