David Austin Alexander Girault Rambling Rose 6l

The Alexander Girault Bears flat, quartered, crimson-pink blooms, each with many quilled petals surrounding a green eye and yellow stamens. There is some repeat-flowering, often with a good crop of flowers in early autumn. A vigorous rambler; it has few thorns and dark, glossy foliage. Barbier, 1869.

Ramblers produce masses of small to medium-sized flowers held in large bunches, making them ideal for creating dramatic effect. With their height and flexibility they have a multitude of different uses: covering buildings and various garden structures, as well as rambling through trees.
