Multi Blue' is a deciduous climber to 1.5-3.5m tall with bronze young leaves, maturing to mid-green. Blue flowers, 8-13cm across, are borne from early summer to early autumn. The central tepals gradually expand as the flower matures, revealing a fully double flower; flowers become paler and more silvery with age
Clematis can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs or herbaceous perennials, mostly climbing by twining leaf-stalks, and often with showy flowers. Some have attractive fluffy seedheads in autumn
