Gooseberry (Ribes Uva-crispa) 'Hinnonmaki Yellow' 3L

Gooseberries are a staple of the British cottage garden. Harvest from July and enjoy them fresh, or cooked in tarts and preserves. When allowed to ripen fully on the plant, gooseberries are soft and sweet.

Superb, hardy bushes produce a heavy crop of medium sized, greenish yellow fruits. Unlike other varieties the unique Gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki Yellow' has a delicious aromatic flavour with a hint of apricot.

Gooseberries can be grown in the ground or in a large container. Although usually grown as bushes, gooseberries can also be trained as single upright stems, as well as fans on walls or fences. This makes the fruit easier to pick from the thorny stems.
