The Lichfield Angel English Shrub Rose from David Austin Roses is graceful and flourishing. It has pale peachy pink buds which gradually open to form neatly cupped, cream rosettes. Each bloom has a perfect ring of waxy petals enclosing numerous smaller petals. Eventually the petals turn back to form a large, domed flower. It forms a vigorous, rounded, almost thornless shrub, its blooms nodding attractively on the branch.
Introduced in 2006, the rose is named to celebrate the discovery of an 8th century sculptured limestone panel discovered at Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire during archaeological excavations. The panel is thought to represent the Archangel Gabriel.
This rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up mixed borders or celebrating in rose hedges and borders. The shrub also does well in pots and containers, or as cuttings, for a more mobile splash of colour and scent.
After approximately three years of annual pruning (made easier through the low number of thorns), the Lichfield Angel will be about 140cm tall and 140cm wide, with a delicious light musk scent and large blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.

-Delivery is in our own vehicles by our dedicated logistics team within an approximate radius of 80 miles from our warehouse (excluding Isle of Wight). If you are outside of this radius, unfortunately we do not currently deliver to your location
-Once your order has been placed our logistics team will be in touch to offer a delivery date within 5-10 business days. If this is unsuitable any additional dates will fall outside of this window.
