David Austin The Lady Gardener Shrub Rose 6L

The Lady Gardener English Shrub Rose from David Austin Roses is bold and beautiful. It bears large, quartered rosettes, each about 4” across, packed with loosely arranged petals. They are a beautiful shade of pure apricot, paling towards the edges. There is a lovely Tea fragrance, with hints of cedar wood and vanilla. The rose was named to raise awareness for Plant Heritage and their important work to protect Britain’s garden plant diversity.

Introduced in 2013, this rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up mixed borders or celebrating in rose hedges. Versatile, the shrub also does well in pots and containers, for a more mobile splash of colour and scent.

After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Lady Gardener will be about 125cm tall and 125cm wide, with a delicious tea scent and large blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
