Summary

The Lady of the Lake English Rambling Rose from David Austin Roses is traditional and striking. Its pretty, semi-double flowers, each about 2” across, are held in sprays on long, slender and flexible stems. They are a pale pink colour and of open formation, each exposing a nice boss of golden stamens. They have a fresh citrus fragrance. The rose is named after the ruler of Avalon in Arthurian Legends, who plays a pivotal role in Sir Walter Scott's famous poem of the same name.

Introduced in 2014, this rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. Particularly good at attracting bees, it is ideal for brightening up walls or fences, and does well threaded through standard arches or obelisks.

After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Lady of the Lake will be about 3.75m tall, with a delicious fruity scent and medium blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
